We offer classes through several partners, as well as our own registration site. Classes typically meet for 3-5 weeks, changing often. Check these sites for sewing classes (hint: Look for Instructor Colleen)

Hosted in our studio on Prior Ave, we offer a variety of classes from the famous Sewing for the Terrified, skills classes to improve seams and zippers, fitting, fabric dyeing, pattern work, and more. We have open studio monthly, and private lessons can be arranged. Clicking the icon takes you to TixTree, a class registration site that uses fully encrypted software for security and cofidence.

What's new this month?

So the holidays have passed and we are getting right into things! Our classes at Eventbrite focus on adjusting commercial patterns, while over at TixTree I have Sewing For The Terrified and some Getting Better classes. If you prefer to register for classes from a partner you’ve heard of, the Textile Center has Sewing For The Terrified in February, and a Fit Clinic where I fit your garment, and you take it away to do the sewing.

Over at St Paul Adult Education, I have a seat or two remaining in their Cute Winter Capes class. Join us for a quick winter project packed with skills like adding insulation and working with thick fabrics. Mondays, Feb 10-27, 6-8pm

Keeping an eye on the future: My classes with St Paul Adult Education fill very quickly, so people like to know what’s upcoming. Watch SPPS or Stitch Masters social media for registration dates. Here’s what I have planned for April and May:

Simple Alterations, Mondays, April 7-21, 6-8pm

Fit Clinic (I fit, you sew) on April 23

Sewing with Knits, April 28-May 19, 6-8pm

I also have three teen summer camps, each four days long, focusing on costuming

Base clothes, June 23-26

Body extenders, July 7-10

Accessories, August 4-7

Classes offered through St Paul Public Schools or Community Education are held in our Prior Ave Studio. We welcome you to try something new!
